Footwear that treats, not just fits
The wrong shoes can cause or worsen heel pain, bunions, corns and diabetic foot ulcers. Orthopaedic footwear has more room, softer and better-shaped soles, and support where your foot needs it. When ready-made footwear is not enough, CuraFoot makes sandals and shoes to your foot scan or adapts your own.
How it works

Foot scan and assessment
Your feet are scanned in 3D and examined, so we know their size, shape and pressure points.

Choose or make
We recommend ready-made orthopaedic footwear, or make sandals and shoes to your scan.

Fitting
Your footwear is fitted and adjusted, with custom insoles added if you need them.
Since 2017 treating feet in Kolkata · Foot & ankle surgeon on our clinical team · 3D scan and pressure mapping for every insole · Four places to see us in Kolkata, Kharagpur and Bhubaneswar

Orthopaedic footwear: your questions
Can I buy orthopaedic slippers online?
Yes. Many CuraFoot slippers and insoles are in the CuraFoot shop. For custom sandals and shoes, and for diabetic feet, visit the clinic for a scan and fitting.
Can you adapt my own shoes?
Often, yes. Wedges, fillers and other changes can be made to suitable shoes. Bring them with you to the clinic.
How is diabetic footwear different?
It has extra depth and width, soft linings with few seams, and cushioned soles, to protect feet that may not feel pressure or rubbing.
How do I book?
Request an appointment online, call 062923 00396 or message us on WhatsApp. The clinic desk will confirm a time with you.
